Lymphatic Drainage Body Cupping

Body Cupping

Traditional massage primarily works through pressure, stretching, and movement of the tissues. Cupping adds a different type of stimulation: instead of simply pressing downward, the cup gently lifts the skin and underlying tissues using controlled negative pressure.

This is why cupping feels different from traditional massage. The treatment can feel gentle while working with the tissues in a completely different way — particularly in areas that feel dense, heavy, tight, or less mobile.

Over time, a sedentary lifestyle, repetitive physical activity, lack of movement, age-related changes, and hormonal changes can all contribute to tissues becoming denser and less flexible. You may begin to notice heaviness, puffiness, tightness, or changes in the texture and appearance of the skin.

Cellulite is not simply “extra fat,” nor is it something that can be eliminated with one cream or one massage session. Its appearance is influenced by connective tissue structure, superficial fat, hormones, genetics, skin quality, and lifestyle.

Regular vacuum-assisted bodywork can help improve tissue mobility and flexibility, while the skin may gradually appear smoother and more even. Consistency matters: one session can leave the body feeling noticeably lighter and softer, while visible changes in skin texture generally develop progressively.

* The session lasts **120 minutes** and provides comprehensive full-body work. I begin by gently preparing the central and major lymphatic areas using specialized equipment. From there, the treatment progresses through the body in a carefully structured sequence. However, this is never a rigid, identical routine for every client. The vacuum intensity, pace, amount of time spent in each area, and overall focus of the session are adjusted according to your tissue condition, sensitivity, and individual goals. If your main concern is heaviness in the legs or the appearance of cellulite, more attention can be given to the lower body and thighs. If your body needs more work through the back or other areas of dense or restricted tissue, the focus changes accordingly. The two-hour format gives me enough time to work thoroughly and without rushing, rather than spending only a few minutes on each area. The chest and décolleté area may also be included according to your preference and the individual focus of your session.

* During the treatment, you will usually experience a pleasant feeling of warmth. Some denser or more sensitive areas may occasionally produce mild tingling or increased sensitivity. The treatment should never feel sharply painful. Vacuum intensity is continuously adjusted according to the area being treated and your response throughout the session. After the treatment, many clients describe: — a feeling of lightness throughout the body; — softer-feeling tissues; — less sensation of heaviness and tension; — greater freedom and ease of movement. Temporary pinkness or redness may appear along the areas where the cup has travelled. For most people it fades relatively quickly, although every skin responds differently and temporary marks may occasionally remain longer. ## When One Session Is Not Enough Even after the first session, you may notice a significant feeling of lightness and softness in the body. However, if your goal is to work with dense tissue, visible cellulite, or areas that have remained less mobile or prone to puffiness for a long time, more noticeable changes require consistency. Tissues change gradually. The rate of change is individual and can be influenced by age, lifestyle, physical activity, hormonal changes, connective tissue characteristics, and the starting condition of the skin and tissues. For this reason, I do not promise identical results for every person, and I do not work according to a one-size-fits-all approach.

* Lymphatic Drainage Cupping Massage may be particularly suitable if you: — frequently experience feelings of heaviness or puffiness; — notice dense or less-mobile areas of tissue; — want to improve the appearance of cellulite and skin texture; — spend long periods sitting or have a sedentary lifestyle; — perform repetitive or physically demanding work; — want to make comprehensive body care part of your regular wellness routine. ## Personalized Oil Blend For every session, I personally select an oil blend based on your individual goals, preferences, and skin sensitivity. Essential oils are always appropriately diluted and are an optional addition to the treatment. The primary mechanical effect of the session comes from the vacuum technique and the way the tissues are worked. If you prefer a fragrance-free treatment, have sensitivities, or simply do not wish to use essential oils, I can work with a neutral carrier oil such as squalane, sesame oil, or another suitable base. This does not reduce the quality of the treatment itself. Please let me know in advance about any allergies or skin sensitivities. I will also confirm this information with you personally before the session begins.

* There are certain situations in which this treatment should not be performed or should be discussed before booking. Please contact me **before booking** if you have: — thrombosis or suspected thrombosis; — significant vascular conditions; — an acute infection, inflammation, or fever; — open wounds, damaged skin, or an active skin condition in the treatment area; — a bleeding disorder or significant tendency to bruise or bleed; — active cancer or current/recent cancer treatment; — recent surgery; — an injury that has not fully healed. **Pregnancy — I do not provide this treatment during pregnancy.** Following surgery, significant injury, or certain medical conditions, medical clearance may be required before treatment.

* That is why no two sessions are exactly the same. The treatment follows a professional structure, but the vacuum intensity, pace, amount of time spent in each area, and overall focus are always adapted to the individual. My goal is not to use the strongest possible suction. My goal is to use **the right level of suction, movement, and time for your body** — so that you leave the session feeling lighter, freer, and more relaxed.

Visceral Abdominal Massage

Massage of internal organs

We often forget that the belly holds more than digestion. Stress, long hours of sitting, old injuries and busy lives all leave tension in the abdomen. Over time, that can feel like heaviness, bloating, gas, sluggish digestion or a tight, "stuck" feeling.

Visceral abdominal massage is a gentle practice rooted in the old Slavic tradition of "belly work." Long before modern medicine, abdominal techniques were passed down by grandmothers and village healers from one generation to the next. Using slow, attentive pressure — with my hands and specialized tools — I work with the soft tissues of the abdomen to release tension and support natural movement and comfort.

* You may benefit from a session if you often feel: - bloated or gassy after meals - constipated or have irregular, sluggish digestion - frequent burping or heaviness after eating - tightness or discomfort in your stomach - stress that seems to "sit" in your belly

* You lie comfortably on a massage table. A session lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your individual needs. I work slowly and attentively, checking in with you throughout. Does it hurt? Areas of tension or spasm can feel tender. I never push to the point of unbearable pain: I hold gentle pressure while you breathe, and the tension gradually releases. Will cupping leave marks? Cupping can leave round, painless marks on the skin. They usually fade within a few days. If you'd prefer to avoid marks, tell me and I'll adjust the technique. How many sessions will I need? Everyone is different. Many clients feel relief after the first session. For ongoing discomfort, a series of sessions once a week is typically recommended, followed by maintenance sessions once a month or as needed. Before your session: avoid a heavy meal for 2–3 hours beforehand. After your session: go about your day as usual. You may notice lightness, gurgling in your belly or mild sleepiness — all completely normal.

* My hands are the heart of every session, but I also use traditional tools to get the best results. Diaphragm work. The diaphragm — the large muscle beneath your ribs that helps you breathe — often holds a lot of tension and is hard to reach with hands alone. I use a traditional wooden tool, designed specifically for abdominal work, to reach this area more precisely and gently. Cupping. I use vacuum cups on the abdomen, both static (cups rest in place) and dynamic (cups glide over the skin). Cupping helps relax tense tissues and encourages the natural flow of lymph and fluids in the body. Depending on your needs, I use it at the beginning or at the end of the session. Warming oils. I use natural warming oils, such as ginger and black pepper, to warm the tissues and help the belly relax. If you have any allergies or sensitive skin, just let me know — I'll use a gentle, neutral base oil instead. Every session is tailored to you: I choose the techniques and tools that best suit your body and how you feel that day.

* My teacher shared an old folk tale: long ago, grain was scattered over a person's belly, and chickens pecking at it gave the abdomen a gentle "massage" of hundreds of light touches. Legend or truth — who knows? But it shows how long people have understood that the belly thrives on attention and care.

* This service is not provided: - during pregnancy - during menstruation (please book after your period ends) - if you have a known aortic aneurysm - if you have blood clots or a tendency to clotting - if you have a fever or acute infection - after recent abdominal surgery or injury - if you have active cancer - if you have any bleeding Please tell me before your session if you: - have any health conditions - have a hernia (including an umbilical hernia) — I'll work that area by hand only, without cups - have skin irritation, rashes or wounds on the abdomen - have allergies or sensitive skin - are taking blood thinners

Please note: This is a wellness service, not a medical treatment. I am not a Registered Massage Therapist, so this service is not covered by extended health insurance. If you have ongoing digestive symptoms, please see your doctor first to rule out medical causes. See your doctor right away if you notice blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, severe or worsening pain, or fever.

LED Light Therapy

led_mask_edited.jpg

The massage ends, and the body enters a state you can't reach any other way: muscles are warm, blood is moving more actively, the skin feels warm and, in a sense, "open." This window doesn't stay open long — and that's exactly why the light goes on now, not before the massage and not instead of it. The reason is simple: light needs to travel deep, down to the cells. And tissue that's been warmed up by massage lets light through deeper and more easily than cold, tense tissue. The hands of the massage therapist basically open the door — and Celluma walks through it. Then something starts happening inside the cell itself. Light hits a tiny "engine" inside the cell called the mitochondrion. There's an enzyme there that's usually a bit choked — a molecule sits on it that slows it down. Red and infrared light basically knocks that brake off. The enzyme starts working faster — and the cell produces more energy. Right at the moment when, after the massage, it actually has repair work to do. That extra energy kicks off a whole chain reaction: the cell produces more building material, divides and moves more actively toward areas that need repair, calms inflammation, and protects itself from damage. There's a separate piece of the story about inflammation — usually why people come in with pain in the first place. Red light reduces the release of substances that keep inflammation going — and this isn't surface-level "soothing," it's stepping directly into the biochemistry that keeps inflammation running for years. There's a vascular side too: light triggers growth of new capillaries in the tissue, locking in the blood flow the massage already got moving mechanically. And the most interesting part is that the effect doesn't stop when you walk out the door. The peak isn't felt on the table, but 3 to 6 hours after the session: the cell got its energy and its signal, but rebuilding tissue and calming inflammation takes time. You leave, go about your evening, fall asleep — and the body keeps finishing what was started. That's why we offer this in a few different formats: LED Recovery — as a finish after a facial massage, for skin restoration and firmness (Short for a quicker version, Full for the complete recommended cycle). LED Pain Relief — run alongside the massage, right on the joint or muscle that's bothering you now.
